June 15, 2020 – Adrenaline Monkey, an indoor adventure center, will soon be reaching a milestone as their second-year anniversary of being open will take place on June 30th. After just recently reopening to the public from being closed due to COVID-19, the center will celebrate their second birthday with an outdoor family-friendly Ninja Competition on Saturday, June 27th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. for all ages and levels. Check in times will be staggered to provide proper social distancing.
Adrenaline Monkey is inviting families or groups of four to compete on the facility’s outdoor obstacle course, that will feature fidget spinners, rings, balance obstacles, and more. The event also will offer admission to ninja warrior courses, rock climbing walls, and an aerial ropes course; food and drink will be available, a champagne toast will be conducted; and prizes will be given!
“We are turning two, and despite all that 2020 has thrown at us thus far, we are determined to not experience ‘terrible twos’. Our celebration is one of hope, happiness and heroes, shared Founder & Owner of Adrenaline Monkey, Denise Carkhuff.” “All attendees have a chance to be their own heroes. To show their family, friends and themselves that they are ready for new beginnings and joyful adventures. We are also celebrating local companies. We understand that local businesses, like our own, will need to use heroic efforts to survive in the current environment.”
Before opening up to the general public, Adrenaline Monkey began a phased reopening starting with welcoming back their training and league programs; followed by their summer camps, fitness classes, and member hours; and on June 12th the facility opened to the general public with limited hours and capacity.
